Please note that this picture is definitely an authentic darkroom print that was laminated by the photographer because he presented it to a competition.  Lamination involves covering the photo with a plastic film, and then it is melted to the photo using heat.  The advantage of laminating is that it prevents the picture from getting damaged.  I like the effect particularly with this picture as it almost makes it seem wet !
