A close-up interpretation of Michael Joseph’s Swimming Opposite, in which the two swimmers seem to dissolve into layers of Prussian blue, turquoise and grey, creating a soft, dreamlike image.

Handmade from an original Michael Joseph negative, each cyanotype bears the natural variations and textures of the process, making it entirely unique.

The reverse includes handwritten details and a Michael Joseph Revisitations label.

A contemporary reinterpretation bringing together Michael Joseph’s photographic archive and Justine Joseph’s cyanotype work.
