This photo was printed by the photographer in his dark room in London, a one-off authentic print of the naked lady from the Nivea campaign.

Man Ray created an image which is known as the Violon d’Ingrès, one can ask oneself if this should be referred to as inspiration or respect?

The art director Paul Arden, who commandeered the image, no doubt sought to ensure it resemble the Man Ray artwork – but sadly he’s no longer here to tell us whether it was deliberate or not.
