Here is the text that appeared on the german published advert:
Sir Reginald and Lady Anthea Ponsonby were awarded the Order of the Paw for their compassionate efforts to improve the welfare of beagles.
They are, of course, Schweppes drinkers.
As hare hunts and rain are far harder on sensitive beagles than on their human companions, the Ponsonbys — moved by pity during a typical English summer shower — devised the Beagle Umbrella: a flash of Schweppes-inspired ingenuity.
Schweppes is the mysterious refreshment of the English drinker. It quenches thirst in an entirely distinctive way — with brisk, bitter bubbles that sparkle and burst on the tongue.
Then comes the unmistakable Schweppes taste. So fresh, so effervescent, that even the most trying company becomes entertaining after a bottle.
